The "Gilberto Impanema" is named after Astrud Gilberto, the "The Girl from Ipanema" (from the song of that name). Often referred to as "The Queen of Bossa-Nova", she is an artist with roots firmly planted in Brazilian music. A pun on the 80s California Indie rock band Camper Van Beethoven (another excellent pun itself!). The "Lady Cougars" are a ladies' basketball team, although they share this name with a number of other all-female sporting teams. Specific inspiration for the PackRat card not known. |

| Panthera Pardus (250)
Panthera Pardus is the formal Latin name for the species leopard in the binomial classification system. The leopard from Safari Kingdom ("Skaars") is one of the rarest cards in PackRat. |

| Dewey Decimal (250)
The "Dewey Decimal" refers to the Dewey Decimal Classification used in libraries to organise books into classes and subclasses using a numbering system, which is probably why it's a 'sensible' shoe. --- contributed by Paul H. |

[edit] About The Set in General
Several cards in this set are share a common design: The Aqua Velvet, Panthera Pardus and Belafonte Day-O have only minor differences other than colour. The heel and arch of the Green Giantesse and Fellini Eight Point Five also match up with each other. -- contributed by James Turner.
Originally 40 cards were needed to complete the set prior to the existence of Premium Markets, requiring 2,340 credits and 4 Pop-Ups (now Bonus Draws).
